The Vulture’s “literary caucus” on Philip Roth was made up of 28 men (25 of them white) and 5 women (4 of them white).

Just in case you were wondering.

And they don’t even quote the women! Obviously.

I mean, I do love some Roth (I’m probably the only one who likes Goodbye, Columbus best). But of course if you interview a bunch of white dudes they’ll all think that Roth was the best American author of our time and deny his misogyny. Plus, ugh, this is making me realize that Roth is so waspy-trendy-hip, like Sperry topsiders and GQ.
